Relative humidity of 24 to 28 percent, south winds 6 to 12 mph,
and dry, dormant vegetation will lead to elevated wildland fire
danger this afternoon.
This includes areas primarily east of the Mississippi River.
Relative humidity will be lowest over west Tennessee and northeast
Mississippi, but winds will be strongest across northeast
Arkansas and the Missouri Bootheel.
Caution should be used in any outdoor burning.
