...First Real Taste of Winter Today...

The last day of November will offer West Tennesseeans the first taste of winter.  A deep, departing storm system to our east will give us clouds...occasional snow flurries...gusty winds...and wind chill values as low as 20 degrees.

A few flurries have been flying this morning.  This afternoon we could see scattered snow showers...especially close to the TN River where there could be some minor accumulations on grassy areas. Elsewhere no accumulation is expected.

Temperatures will remain in the mid-30 for a good part of the area.  However...northwest winds of 15 mph gusting to 30 mph at times will make it feel like 20 degrees.

Remember to wear layered clothing, a hat, and gloves or mittens, if you must go outside today.
