Elevated Fire Danger Today

...Elevated Fire Danger Today...

The combination of dry/dormant vegetation and afternoon relative
humidity values dropping between 15 and 25 percent will lead to
elevated fire danger across the Midsouth today.

Winds speeds are expected to remain less than 10 mph.

Near critical fire weather conditions may occur on Thursday as
southerly winds will increase across the area and relative
humidity values drop below 30 percent. Will need to monitor for
Red Flag conditions being met.

Caution should be used in any Outdoor Burning. Contact your local
government or fire control officials for information regarding
any burn restrictions.
