Isolated Heavy Rainfall in NW Madison County

Early Tuesday evening an isolated thunderstorm developed over primarily the NW portion of Jackson and Madison Co.  One report from the CoCoRaHS rainfall network was 2.01 inches from the Pipkin Road area.  Another report from the campus of Trinity Christian Academy was 1.11 inches. The McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport had 0.11". Below is a map of rainfall reports received through 7 AM this morning.
