The Global Ensemble Forecast System model suggests that above-average temperatures will prevail for West TN through the rest of December.  January 2019 should begin a colder-than-average pattern.

December 25 thru 30th

Temperatures over West TN expected to be above average.

 December 30th - January 4th

A decidedly turn to below average temperatures.

 January 3rd - January 8th

Below average temperatures entrenched over West TN and
the eastern half of the United States.

 January 5th - January 10th

Little change in the cold intensity or area of
colder than average temperatures
