THROUGH MONDAY EVENING...
* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation is possible. Significant
accumulations may occur across the Mid-South. At this time, snow
is expected to occur across Northeast Arkansas, the Missouri
Bootheel, and far Northwest Tennessee. Further southeast,
through the Memphis Metro Area into the Jackson, Tennessee area,
precipitation may start out as sleet then changes to all snow.
Across Northeast Mississippi into areas of West Tennessee near
Savannah and Selmer, a mixture of freezing rain and sleet may
occur and mixing in with snow towards Monday afternoon.
* WHERE...All of West Tennessee
* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Monday evening.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
commute. The cold wind chills as low as 5 below zero could
result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Power
outages may occur in areas that receive freezing rain.
