ICE STORM WARNING ISSUED FOR SOME; WINTER STORM WATCH CONTINUES MOST


 ...ICE STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON CST

THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Significant icing expected. Total ice accumulations of
  two tenths to three tenths of an inch. Some sleet may also
  occur.

* WHERE...West TN Counties of:  Lake-Obion-Weakley-Dyer

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to noon CST Thursday. The first
  round of ice accumulations is expected tonight. Greater
  accumulations are expected Wednesday night into Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the
  ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT: Significant icing possible. Ice accumulations around one
  quarter of an inch possible. Some sleet may also occur.

* WHERE: For the West TN Counties of:  Henry-Gibson-Carroll-Benton-
Lauderdale-Tipton-Haywood-Crockett-Madison-Henderson-Shelby-
Fayette

* WHEN: From Wednesday evening through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS: Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the
  ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the morning commute.
