...Patchy Frost Possible Tonight... A cooler and drier air mass will settle over the Mid-South tonight. Clearing skies and light winds will promote strong radiation cooling, allowing temperatures to fall into the mid 30s across portions of west Tennessee and extreme north Mississippi. These temperatures may harm unprotected vegetation. It is recommended to cover or bring indoors any sensitive plants. The caveat to the frost potential is the possibility of fog and low stratus development overnight. This will most likely occur in areas in proximity to standing water from recent rainfall. Should fog or low clouds form, temperatures may not be quite as cold. Temperatures will warm quickly after sunrise Wednesday.
