* COUNTIES... Chester, Fayette, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Henderson, Lauderdale, Madison, McNairy, Shelby, and Tipton.

* TIMING... From Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening

* RAINFALL AMOUNTS...Excessive rainfall from the remnants of tropical cyclone Barry, totaling 4 to 8 inches.

* IMPACTS... Flash flooding could lead to live threatening situations for motorists and individuals exposed to low lying areas or rapidly rising creeks and rivers.
